MCR COMMITTEE 2025
Every year, we elect a new MCR committee. The members of the committee are elected by the student postgraduate student body at Lucy Cavendish after a period of canvassing and a hustings where candidates present their ideas to improve college-life in the form of a manifesto. Nominations for positions normally open in Week 3 of Michaelmas Term with the Hustings taking place in Week 4 and the elections in Week 5. The first committee meeting will sit in Week 6.

As well as having the privilege of representing your fellow students, there are a variety of benefits of joining the MCR. Please see these below. The benefits are in place to reflect the hard-work MCR committee members put in to their roles. The roles are completely voluntary and therefore, should only be held by individuals that feel passionate about improving student life.
